Netflix has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming period miniseries, Transatlantic, inspired by the two unsung American heroes who built an underground rescue operation to help refugees escape Europe during World War II.

Two Americans and their allies form a scrappy rescue operation in 1940 Marseilles to help artists, writers and other refugees fleeing Europe during WWII.

Production took place in Marseille, France, which is the exact location where the whole rescue operation happened. Consisting of seven episodes, the upcoming period drama—which was first announced in 2021—will soon grace Netflix on April 7.
